Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Wholesale Sales is responsible for developing strategy and executing sales to established and new customers. S/he manages a comprehensive set of sales functions including customer acquisition and retention, contractual sales representatives, in-store promotions, customer service, target pricing and terms.
Carve Designs is an entrepreneurial environment. We are seeking an individual who could win a management role at a larger company but who instead wants to play a major role in the success of an early-stage business and the development of a lifestyle apparel brand. The ideal candidate will be able to both set strategy for the business with creative, break-through ideas as well as ‘roll their sleeves up’. You will need strong organizational and interpersonal skills to excel in this role. You will need to be a highly motivated, do-it-yourself individual who thrives in fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership contributing to growth and profitability goals;
• Build annual sales goals and forecasts;
• Establish performance metrics for all sales territories;
• Manage sales representatives, retain representatives where appropriate and replace in territories where necessary;
• Provide customer insights across the company to inform all aspects of Carve Design’s business strategy;
• Provide strategic guidance on pursuing new distribution channels and product development;
• Conduct consumer and competitive research to provide insight and learning to company overall;
• Travel to see key accounts and exhibit at trade shows.
Skills
• 10+ years of professional work experience, primarily in sales role or product management of apparel. Experience with Outdoor Industry a plus.
• Has proven track record of achievement in delivering profitable growth in an apparel company.
• Has passion for Carve Designs, apparel, and an active lifestyle.
• Is highly analytical and tends towards making data-driven decisions; disciplined in making ROI-driven decisions.
• Puts consumer first – fundamentally oriented to and governed by the needs of the customer.
• Has experience with or at least strong natural intuition regarding how behavior can influence commerce.
• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, with its fast pace and continual change; comfortable delivering results with a small, lean team.
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
• Detail oriented.
• BA or equivalent is required. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

We are seeking a Technical Designer to work closely with Product managers and Designers to achieve design aesthetic, fit intent and construction.
Responsibilites include:
Leading fit sessions with a fit model
Working closely with designers to achieve fit and design aesthetic
Collaborate with Designers and merchants to understand design
Ensure size and fit consistency throughout the entire line
Assess samples for fit, function, construction, proportion, workmanship and movement
Establish specifications on all points of measure
Maintain a consistant fit through line that meets our standards
Approval of fit on each style
Manage own workflow
Ability to meet seasonal deadlines
Produce Technical Packages that are sent to Manufacturer
These packages include:
Details on improved fit and quality of every garment
Photos of garments that have issues and problems
Detailed sketches of each piece
Bill of Materials
Construction information updated
Garment measurements, graded measurements and any changes associated with these
Pattern Modifications
Information:
Sketches are done in Adobe Illustrator
Bill of Materials are provided by designers
Constructions are industry standard
Points of measure are based on blocks and standards
Grade rules- for grade standards
Evaluate all top of production, preproduction ans size set samples
Qualifications:
College Degree- BS/BA, preferably in Apparel Technical Design
3-5 Years industry experience in womens clothing and or womens athletic apparel
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe Illustrator as well as industry specification package experience
Great communication skills and ability to problem solve
Able to work well with a team
This job is 10-15 hours to start and can grow into a full time position.
You need to be available during the work week from 9am to 5pm. All other work can be done on your own time, however.
You must have your own transportation.

Measurements needed are:
General Size- 6
Bust- 36" (at high rib just under chest)
Cup- 34B
Waist- 29"
Low Hip (8" below hip)- 39"
Bicep-12"
Sleeve Length- 23"
You need to have flexible hours during the week (between the hours of 9-5), and be able to get yourself to and from the job on your own.
Must be comfortable fitting bikinis!
