Digital Marketing Intern

The Digital Marketing Intern is a paid, hourly position running from March 2025 to July 2025 (exact dates TBD). This remote role is based in Utah, requires 15-20 hours per week, with the flexibility to meet in person regularly with the Performance Marketing Director in Utah. 

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will support the Performance Marketing Director and greater Ecom team in crafting a best-in-class, consumer-centric digital experience across Carve Designs’ owned channels—including email, SMS, paid media, and digital marketing touchpoints. You’ll gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools, contribute to high-impact marketing initiatives, and collaborate with a dynamic team.


Key Responsibilities:


Performance Marketing Channel Support

  • Support with Email & SMS Marketing planning and scheduling, inclusive of utilizing project management tool Asana and Yotpo Email and Text service provider.

  • Support with monthly Performance Marketing reporting, including reporting of key performance metrics, benchmarks, and marketing examples. 

  • Analyze performance across email and text, identifying trends and areas of opportunities

  • Competitor analysis benchmarking 


Loyalty Program:

  • Support with Carve Rewards loyalty campaign planning

  • Support with monthly reporting and identifying areas of opportunities for our most loyal customers


Additional Growth Opportunities:

  • Opportunity to present to larger Digital and Marketing teams.

  • Opportunity to learn industry leading tools such as Triple Whale, Yotpo, Later, Lexer.

  • Opportunity to support customer database growth via giveaways depending on experience. 

  • Opportunity to support the ongoing management of Carve Creators, inclusive of content monitoring and monthly reporting depending on experience.

  • Knowledge of the apparel industry, outdoor industry focused a plus


Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, digital communications, or related field.

  • Working towards a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications and/or related field OR equivalent experience.

  • Familiarity with Facebook Business Manager is a plus.

  • Experience with Yotpo, Klaviyo, or other ESPs is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Triple Whale, Adobe Analytics, or other analytics tools is a plus.

  • Experience in a D2C or retail e-commerce environment is a plus.


Compensation & Location:

  • $15-$20/hour

  • Remote in Utah with the ability to regularly meet in-person with Performance Marketing Director
