Danica Taylor began working with the Carve crew six years ago “I was working on a job in Santa Cruz and the Makeup artist Nikol, thought we'd be a great fit- so she introduced us and we've been working together ever since. I wasn't really looking for modeling gigs at the time as I'd already taken up an interest in photography but they were just so lovely to work with that it was an easy yes. The team is a blast, everyone encourages you to be yourself and I always leave a shoot day feeling uplifted and inspired. It's really a blessing to work with a team of such creative, driven women.
As plans were coming together for the Zen Lux, Lisa Moir capsule campaign - the stars aligned once again: “This was such an amazing opportunity, I definitely wasn't shy about putting my name in the hat on this one. A group of us were in studio shooting and Lisa mentioned she was doing a collab for Carve in Hawaii, I then asked if they had anyone to shoot it and when they said no, I didn't hesitate. Lisa and I worked so well together and we got some beautiful images. I've been shooting a lot in the studio recently and this reminded me how much I love shooting on location.”
