Friday Distractions: Entirely Distracted by Early Fall Vibes

Hello and Happy Friday from the Carve Designs Team!

This Friday the early Fall vibes have us all a little more than distracted...okay entirely distracted.  We've suffered through an abnormally foggy summer and we couldn't be happier that the Fall vibe has settled into the Bay Area, Karl the Fog has left the building and the sun is here to stay.  Bring on the vitamin D!

The first thing Fall brings is the opportunity to unearth your favorite wardrobe...the Fall 'drobe is o' so cozy with layered looks galore.  It's all about finding those versatile pieces that you can layer under a vest or jean jacket, or over a short sleeve shirts when the day lingers on and nip fills the air.  Check out our amazing sweater collection as well as this crazy adorable on trend, striped and lace up top, the Marsolan Top.  Play it safe with long sleeves in a comfortable ribbed knit, but keep it playful with arm cuffs, side slits, and a fitted lace-up silhouette.  The Marsolan comes in two colors, a beautiful Teal and a classic Navy as seen below.  Our Model, Kat, wears the Marsolan styled with our Austin Hat and Steamboat Skirt.

For song pick this week we are going with a little bit more of a dark and soulful vibe to match the Fall atmosphere, shorter days, lower sun and chillier nights.  Time to start settling in for the winter ahead and this song is just the tune to play as you retire home after a long day and choose to make dinner in and catch up on your favorite TV series rather than go out on the town.  Enjoy the diverse energy The Districts bring in their song, YOUNGBLOOD.  It's an epic one you will have to listen to at least 5 times before you begin to understand what they are doing with this piece.

Drink pick follows suit as we incorporate apple and gin into the crowd pleasing Moscow Mule, here you have the Apple Gin Mule.  Still served in the gorgeous copper mugs, and still using ginger beer for the fizz, but with an early Fall twist.
