Shop Recycled SwimLove this swim short. It is my 5th pair or so. I would say it runs a little big. So if in doubt go with a size smaller. I am usually a size s ( which is what I wear in the Carve swim skirt) but this short I wear a xs.

Love the fit. Great shorts for the beach.
I really like these but for one major and one minor issue. Major problem is there is no waist tie, and so you either have to get them uncomfortably tight (the mediums I returned) or figure out a way to keep the next size up from riding down while swimming - I may create an internal tie by cutting holes and threading something through the waistband to help keep them on. Three minor issue is the rubber along the legs of the built-in underwear. Why are we spending time keeping it on our legs but not our waist??
