The high rise Carson Jean is a great fitting Jean for me. It nips in at the wait but has room for hips and thighs. The railroad stripe is just what I was looking for. I have several pairs of high rise Carson jeans and they all fit great and are really comfortable. The denim is soft, but feels substantial.

Wanted to love these but the pair I received had a dye error around waistband. Small but still noticeable, so back they went. Otherwise did like them. I have been looking for a grey jean and love stripes, so this looked so promising. But have to say of all the Carve items I have tried recently (as a new shopper) they all seem to be missing the stretch that I am used to in other brands. I think fit is important and we all can be different sizes over time. Having clothing that can stretch with you, is great for everyone, including the planet! So hope Carve will include some stretch in their bottoms, pants and shorts. Style-wise these looked cool, but sadly did not work for me. Better close up photos would be nice, or at least making sure the item you get matches what is shown. I think the dye lots are variable.
