I need a top that does chafe for outrigger canoe paddling and racing. I found the top strap across the back of the neck uncomfortable and oppressive. So I cut that strap in half, remove the silly T-strap and sewed it to the top strap to lengthen it and get it off the back of my neck. I fed the tieing strap over it and now I forget I even have the top on, it is that comfortable! This modification was such a success, I bought two more and made the same modification. Yahoo! Now if Carve would only make them this way in the first place, it is so much more functional and comfortable.
