This is a beautiful skirt but runs small. I can wear it but wish I had ordered a size larger than the one indicated by the size chart recommendation. I larger size would have been more comfortable. I had already worn the skirt and couldn't return it.

I've deducted two stars because of the incorrect sizing information provided. Usually the size charts and size recommendations from Carve work well for me. Not so here.

I loved the navy print of this skirt so I really wanted to like/keep it given how cute it looks on the model but I found it too tight in the waist in my usual size (M). (For comparison, I am 5'6", 150 lbs, 33" waist and 42" hips. ) I wasn't 100% sold on the feel of the fabric but the ruching in the back and the slit up the front - which, yes, is a little unique - were positives for me. I may try it in a larger if I can catch it on sale in the future.
