Most overalls are rather stiff but these are just as soft and comfortable as I expect Carve pants to be! I'm usually size 6, so bought the same with these, and they fit just like I expected: somewhat loose around my back side and thighs but not LOOSE, just not fitted. The print is definitely railroad stripe, which was hard to see in the picture, but it's cute in person. Overall so happy with my purchase!
