ICONIC STYLE. SUSTAINABLY SOURCED.

As much versatility in form and function as there is in its reversible pattern. This jacket can go from streetwear trendy to mountain beauty. Its 100% Organic Cotton Shell and 100% Recycled Polyester lightweight fill make the Marais a sustainable, forever favorite.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The Marais Reversible Jacket was designed for everyday versatility and travel because it’s reversible (pockets on both sides), has a lightweight insulated fill, and a quilted woven exterior that resists crushing in a suitcase. Those three facts make it easy to change your look mid-trip and keep a compact layer handy. It’s also available in sizes from XXS to XXL and comes in the Fir/Capri Batik seasonal colorway if you like packing one piece that reads both polished and playful. Best for: busy women who want one jacket that moves from school drop-off to an evening out and tucks into luggage without losing structure. Limitations: the fill is lightweight, so for very cold or sustained alpine conditions you’ll want a heavier insulating layer underneath.
Partially — yes for cool, active days; not alone for deep cold. The Marais uses a lightweight insulated fill and a quilted woven exterior to trap warmth while staying breathable, which is ideal for brisk hikes, après walks, and layered mountain outings. The snap-front closure and snap pockets add wind-blocking seams where you need them most. Who benefits most: active women who need a stylish, packable midlayer for shoulder-season mountains or chilly coastal climbs. If you plan full winter sports in subfreezing temps, treat this as a versatile midlayer and pair it with a heavier technical shell or insulated coat for full protection.
Very practical and deliberately built. The Marais’s reversible construction includes functional snap-front pockets on both faces and a snap closure, so you don’t lose utility when you flip it. The quilted woven exterior and lightweight fill are designed for everyday abrasion and movement rather than heavy industrial wear, and every piece in our line is made from recycled, upcycled, or organic materials with zero toxic chemicals. Who loves this: women who want effortless style with real pockets for phones and keys and the confidence that their jacket won’t be a one-side novelty. Note: frequent rough use (constant scraping or heavy backpack friction) can accelerate wear, so treat it like your favorite, not your workhorse.

Reviews Summary
Customers say this reversible jacket is warm, soft, and comfortable with beautiful colors and patterns. Many appreciate its lightweight feel without bulk and the versatility of the reversible design. The boxy, oversized fit allows for layering underneath, though several customers recommend sizing down. Common feedback includes receiving frequent compliments when wearing it. Some concerns include pilling or batting coming through the fabric after washing or wear, loose threads from stitching, and the jacket running larger than expected. Most find it perfect for fall weather and transitional seasons.

    Comfy!

This is the second Marais reversible jacket that I have purchased, so definitely a winner for me! I've had no issues with washing (but I use a large lingerie bag and wash on delicate). I really like the versatility of having 2 jackets in one, especially for travel. I think it's sorta hippie chick, hahaha!

    Very versatile

Bought in winter but even in spring I wear it often. I expect I will wear it on cool summer nights also. I does run a bit large but I think that makes it even easier to layer. Would recommend!

    Just OK

I really want to love this jacket, and I do love the fit. I am just super disappointed with the screen print on the back. The website photos show a very vibrant picture that almost looks embroidered. The reality is pretty different. People keep asking what is on the back because they can't tell it is flowering cacti. I am currently looking for a local artisan to embroider around the artwork so it looks better.

    Bulky cut and flimsy seams

The colors of the fabric are beautiful, I was so excited for this jacket! Unfortunately the cut looks bulky in the longer length and a few seams were already loose/shedding thread so I was worried how it would hold up to washing. Sadly returning

    Great jacket.

Love it! It does run a bit large, though.
