I bought 3 pairs back in May during a sale: quarry, rum, and olive. I live in the Oahu 6" shorts and have for several years now. These new shorts are made of a much thinner cord fabric. And they all fit diffrently. The quarry pair is much tighter than the other two colors. I kept them because they were on sale. But it is disappointing to see prices increase and quality decrease. I will go back to finding gently used pairs on Poshmark.

I'm loving these shorts in the 6" length. In the past I bought the 4" ver, but the extra 2" is perfect. The fabric is also great: soft, comfortable, and a thin corduroy, so it doesn't feel heavy or hot at all.

I do think the sizing has changed since my last purchase, since my new shorts are not loose but instead true to size. Instead of a boyfriend fit, these feel fitted, but still comfortable. The fabric doesn't stretch out much while wearing, as my older pair always does, so that's a bonus.

Overall I would buy these again and I wish more colors were available, especially more shades of blue.

I loooove this. The waist is low-ish, but not enough to show my muffin top.

The length is mid thigh (I am only 5' 4"). Extremely comfy and cool!

I would buy one more pair...
