I have originally ordered a regular 4” Oahu short and while the size was right, the waist was gaping at the back. I’ve returned and ordered the high-rise version, which worked out well! I am pear shaped with a 41” hip and 29” waist, 150 lbs. The size 8 is perfect. I’ve got the yellow. It goes well with the yellow/white/black striped shirt. It looks as pictured! I also have to mention that Carve Designs’ customer service is top notch!! They waived the return fee and sent me the new shorts in a day (I’m close to their warehouse, still it was amazing)! Now, I know exactly which style fits me best!
