Sustainability Isn't A Feature - It's Our Foundation
When Carve Designs began in 2003, we didn't add sustainability to our checklist - we made it our core vision. That hasn't changed.

About UsA Cleaner Wave Of Swim
Shop Recycled SwimIt's so soft and silky, but also washable! I got this blue/charcoal color that's really beautiful. It kinda changes colors in the light, which looks really elevated. I've been wearing it already in the warm weather and it's so light that it works. I think layering it with a coat in the fall is be great too. Definitely a keep. More in this fabric, please!
This dress is one of those rare pieces that looks polished without feeling precious. The fabric has a beautiful drape and subtle sheen, and I love that you can cinch the rope belt for shape or wear it a little looser and more relaxed. The slit gives it just enough movement and keeps the longer length from feeling too serious.
I’m 5’10”, and the length hits beautifully on me. I styled it with pointed heels here, but I can easily see it with flat sandals over a swimsuit or boots once the weather cools down. Very much a dress that earns its closet space.
I bought the Kindsilk dress thinking I'd mostly wear it as a swim cover-up, but it's turned into one of those pieces that does more than I expected. The fabric is so lightweight that it feels effortless over a bathing suit — doesn't cling, dries fast, and packs down to nothing in a beach bag. It wrinkles easily, but honestly the wrinkles seem to give it a little style, like it's supposed to look a bit relaxed and lived-in.
What surprised me is how easily it transitions from pool to dinner. Swap sandals for a pair of heels or wedges, add some jewelry, and it suddenly looks intentional and put-together, not like something I just threw on over a swimsuit. The fit is relaxed but flattering, and the fabric has just enough movement to feel elevated without being fussy.
I ended up sizing down for this dress as I wanted it to fit smaller but I think a SM or MED would be good.
The Solana dress is super soft, flowy and flattering. It's a delicate fabric, with some wrinkling. I love the Washed Charcoal Blue color.
