Sustainability Isn't A Feature - It's Our Foundation
When Carve Designs began in 2003, we didn't add sustainability to our checklist - we made it our core vision. That hasn't changed.

About UsA Cleaner Wave Of Swim
Shop Recycled SwimLove the versatility of this jacket. Bought it for a snorkeling trip to Belize, with the matching shorts, and it performed great! Easy on and off, just right thickness for tropical waters and wind on the boat ride out to the snorkel sites. Protected me from jellyfish encounters. I can also see myself using it on cooler days up at mountain lakes and rivers for a little extra warmth. The fabric is lusciously stretchy (could easily kayak, SUP, or swim in it without it restricting you). Way easier to get in/out of than a traditional wetsuit. It was a great alternative to a single piece for me because I’m not a traditional wetsuit size (curvy, short girl here, and there LITERALLY are no wetsuits that fit that combo of body type!). I felt the fit was actually on the roomy side. I’m usually a large in most Carve tops and a 12 or Large in most carve bottoms and the size Large fit with extra room (if you’re between sizes, I’d actually size down on this). I only wish there would have been a navy, black, or dark blue color option ( to be less attractive to the scarier ocean critters - aka sharks). I bought the burgundy- looking color, which actually looked almost fuchsia in the water. Only other negative was that it took a little longer time to air dry (but it can go in the washer dryer at home which is awesome!)
I like this jacket very much for swimming laps in my health club's cool pool water. It fits nicely, is flattering, not too short, and the fabric is a stretchy medium weight. I will likely get a second jacket in a different color and pattern.
