I have never bought anything from Carve so I went by their recommended size. The waist is huge and weirdly the drawstring is low at the hips instead of at the waist so even if I tie them the waist is still huge. there's no possible way I could wear these and didn't see that they were final sale with no returns or exchanges. I was excited to find a brand I could support but with the fit and the return policy I won't be shopping here again.

I have four pairs of these shorts. The crinkle waste is so comfortable and hides some tummy bulge I’d rather the world not see (no muffin top in these shorts). I wear them padding, around town, and on boats. For future models, I wish Carve would add a zipper pocket. These have a snap pocket but I am less confident putting my car key here while paddling/ jumping in/ out of ocean than I feel with other shorts that have a zipper.
