I bought this for my mother-in-law, who usually wears an extra large. It was only a little bit big for me, and I wear a medium. It probably could have stretched to fit her, but she wouldn’t be comfortable wearing something this tight. I would say the extra large is more like a large.

I love this sun dress! Perfect as a coverup and for protection from the sun. The drawstring give the freedom to choose the length of the bottom half. So far, I’ve worn this to a water park and hiking to a waterfall, and got compliments both times.
