I used the size chart and read the reviews for the product. When I tried on the shorts upon arrival they looked awful on me. The leg openings bagged out and the length was much shorter than what appears in the website image.

I finally found the perfect board shorts for my figure. I am 5'8, 150 pounds, and shaped like a pear. I usually wear a 10, but after reading the other reviews, I sized up and ordered a size 12. I love these so much that I intend to buy another pair.

I've been searching for the perfect board shorts and these are it. The length is perfect-- not too short or too long. I'm usually a size 6 in pants but got these in an 8 because it seems most swimwear is made for a younger body (I'm 64) and the bottom sizes are often too tight. These fit well, a little lower on my waist than the picture, which I prefer. They look and feel great.
