What’s up the sizing. Everyone said to size down. So I got a size 4 in both colors. One fit great and the other was skin tight. Very disappointed and now I have to pay for return shipping? Rude!
Really cute and well made, but as other people have noted, they run small. The normal rise Oahu shorts fit me great, it not a smidge big in a size 4 (my normal jeans size is a 26, but i size up for shorts because of my big thighs). I got these in a 4 and they button and all, but are skin tight. I'm returning for a 6 and hoping they will fit more like the 4 in the mid-rise. Otherwise, they seem to be great shorts, just like the mid-rise, which are the best shorts I've ever owned.
Inconsistency in size
Fantastic fit! Love these shorts - please continue making this style!!! The Oahu "Hi Rise" style fits me better than the regular style because it fits a bit tighter while still actually having a mid-rise waist on me. The 4" length is my favorite. For reference I am 5'4" and weigh 98 lbs - the size 0 fits perfectly.
