I bought this for swimming in a cold lap pool, and because the fabric is thick (semi-wetsuit) it does help me retain a little heat and keeps me from freezing on my way to the showers. Sleeves fit well without restricting movement. It would probably be too hot for sunny biking or kayaking, but for cold-water swimming, perfect.

I love this shortie. Fits well and very comfortable, but I struggled removing the garment at the end of my swim. A longer zipper would make getting out easier.

My wife loves the shortie. She has several other Stargazer swim wear pieces and loves the line.
Shipping took longer than expected and as a result it was hard to determine when it would arrive until tracking info was sent days after the order. An REI order at the same time for a similar item arrived before these items were even shipped.

Really love the cut on this. I would love a few more pattern options and would love it in a bit of a thicker wetsuit material. Otherwise - perfect!
