Great top! Guidelines for the perfect fit were Right On! Love having a cute top that is FUNCTIONAL!
I thought this tankini would have fit me well based on what it looked like in the photos on-line, but maybe I should have paid more attention to the word "compression" in the description. Also, the Carve Designs on-line size calculator says I am a size L. I love the purple color and crisscross straps in the back, but I feel like the fit on me was more like a size M than a size L. The bust part was OK. However, the part right below the bust was very long and extremely tight. My waist typically fits size large clothing, but I have a very short torso and size XL hips (hence very curvy). The tankini was very uncomfortable around my waist and of course was all bunched up on top of my hips. I have not had this experience with other Carve Designs swim wear tops (rash guards). Since I bought it on a Final Sale, I will now need to find a tall, skinny friend to gift it to.
I already left a review of this top on the dark fur color, but I’ll just say this material is awesome! The print is so cute. This top pairs perfectly with the Lani bottoms. And once I figured out the double-sided sticky nipple covers to keep the girls in place this has a permanent spot in my swim drawer.
I really love this top! The color is gorgeous, and the compression material is really nice and buttery, but substantial and firm. The cut is quite flattering and sporty too. My only trouble was that my girls aren’t as firm as they once were and really want to squish (and not in a flattering way) out the center, so I found myself adjusting constantly. I fixed the problem with some double-sided sticky silicone nip covers and now this is a staple swim top for me.
