I used to think that you needed to wear a traditional swim competition brand to swim laps. Not any more. I own several Stinson Tankinis and swim laps in them in the summertime at the outdoor pool. The fit is tight enough that there's no drag when swimming, and the suit doesn't rub at all. I'm a former collegiate swimmer so I do put the suit to a serious test. The material is very durable in chlorinated pools. After a summer's use, the suit looks great. I highly recommend the Stinson.
